SCV’s – The Gatherer & Groundwork For The Terran

These are the units that everybody has to have to win.  They gather your resources and are the key to building a good base.  If You Want to have any economy at all then you need to build a bunch of these to get your resources rolling in.

Any strategy that you do, regardless of what it does, will need these.  If you are new to the game then know that each player has to make their economy grow.  SCV’s are the very first units you should be making in bulk.

The Marines – The Key to Military & Offense

The Marines that I’m going over now in this Starcraft 2 Terran units guide is the “key” to the Terran military.  If you need military units then look no further than the Marines.  They have a rifle and have good armor,  but you should never send them out alone.

Special Tip: Marines work well with the MMM strategy – Marines, Marauders, and Medivacs.  Use those together in bulk and you can defeat any defense.

The Marauder – Marines With Grenade Launchers

These guys are amazing, as they are Marines with grenade launchers who launch at enemies on the ground.  They’re really awesome at destroying things that are armored, so use them for that.  Again, with the Marines and Medivacs they pack quite a punch.

The Medivacs – Completing Your MMM Strategy

Technically called the Medivac Dropship, these guys are a doctor’s office in the air.  It’s funny, but they basically fly around and heal your military while picking up and delivering some of your units pretty effectively.  Again, with the Marines and Marauders these are a necessary to winning.
