If I walk a lot will the effects stop? & Strength training?
I’ve been walking for maybe a couple months now and I’m wondering if I don’t switch to a different cardiovascular exercise, if the results will stop showing.
also, what other kind of cardiovascular exercises can I do at home? I can’t go to the gym or swim. I run once in a while when the weather is good.
For independent PE I have to do 20hrs of strength training total, what exercises can I do?
If you continue with the same walking routine the effects won’t stop but rather you will see diminishing returns over time. Your muscles have adapted hence your body isn’t working as hard as it was in the beginning to do that particular activity. If you enjoy walking you can up the intensity, duration or time spent doing so. Another option is to add in some intervals of jogging to help keep your heart-rate up. If you are looking for a new activity how about some fitness videos? Many have weight training segments added into the routine so you can accomplish two goals at once!
