Does making learning fun make for good learning?

“arousal, interests, excitement, and anxiety in classroom.” Please include some books about learning and their authors.

Konos – can’t remember the author off the top of my head – you can find it on the internet. Making learning concrete – something they experience not something they just read about makes for good learning. Fun? Well, alot of it is fun. I prefer “interesting”, but “fun” is an ok word to use. The goal is to make children into people who want to learn throughout their lifetime. Konos is a good homeschool curriculum. We supplement it quite a bit – but she has great ideas.
