Where can I download the full Operating System for the PS3?

I have a bricked HDD and I need to download the full Operating System, not just the update.

The method I am about to tell you will cause you to lose all of your game saves, but this is the only way I found you can do this.

Take the HDD out of your PS3 and install it inside your computer. Format it from your computer, then put it back in your PS3. The PS3 will turn on and you will be given the option to format your hard drive to work on your PS3.
