I have Vista and really don’t care for it. I want to install a different system…?
Microsoft WINDOWS XP PRO Professional SP2 , full version.
Will this work ? Must I uninstall Vista first? Please advise? Thanks
SP3 is in use now and installing XP will allow you to format the drive as you install so no need to uninstall Vista first.
Before you do this you might want to consider dual-booting which you can see done on You-Tube.
Also, if You Want a new experience altogether, a much better Operating System is Linux. If that is too large a jump you might try a live version which adds no data to your PC and allows you to try and test Linux before making the jump.
XP Pro is a much better option than Vista in my view but be careful you don’t get rid of it and then some software/hardware provider stops supporting XP. Hence the option to dual boot.
