Speaker has no sound even after pulling out the Headset audio plug?

Lately my speaker doesn’t seem to give out sounds but my headset works fine. I use the same playback device setting and before this happened which is Speakers and Headphones.

It would be useful if you named the device in question.

I expect that this is a shorting jack for the headphones?? It cuts out the speakers when headphones are plugged in?? That your headphones still work suggests that the electronics are OK – so, there is a fault with the jack.

Try Speakers Only on the playback and see if that makes any difference.

Again, it is hard to diagnose without knowing the device in question.
